Antón Alcalde (Rianxo, A Coruña, 1992). Ten unha formación autodidacta pero además está profundamente agradecido a varios compositores e entidades que influíron decisivamente na súa formación como Rafael Collazo Moares, X. Carlos Seráns Olveira, Andrés Valero Castells e a Banda da Escola de Música de Rianxo, banda na que iniciou os seus estudos. Realizou un master class con percusionistas de gran prestixio. Ten 27 obras. Obtivo numerosos premios como: Primeiro Premio no II Concurso Iberoamericano de Composición para Banda de Música "Vila de Ortigueira"; Primeiro Premio no II Concurso Galego de Composición para Banda de Música, etc. Na actualidade é profesor de percusión e compositor residente na Escola de Música de Rianxo. Pertence á Asociación Galega de Compositores.

de Paz, Xabier (A Coruña 1963)

Xavier de Paz López-Novoa was born in 1963 in A Coruña. He is a founding member of the Galician Association of Composers (AGC). He studied at the Conservatories of A Coruña, Santiago de Compostela and Madrid. Grant from the Diputación Provincial of A Coruña, he studied composition at the Hartt School of Music, University of Hartford, EEUU. In 1993 won the First Prize of the seventh SGAE Awards for young composers with "Sitting on a Gulf of shadow”. In 1994 he get of the award Edward Diemente of the Hartt School of Music, University of Hartford. In 1996 he was awarded a scholarship by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Spanish Academy of History, Archaeology and Fine Arts Roma. In October 1997 won the first edition of Andrés Gaos Prize with his work "Das Absences I". He has been Composer in Residence at the National Youth Orchestra of Spain in 1997. The compositions of Xabier de Paz have been performed in Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Portugal, and EEUU, and he has received commissions from major orchestras and soloists.
He has written works such as “Noite na auga”, “Arianna no laberinto” e “O mencer dos soños”.
